“Propaganda And Populism Belong To The Past”

Mufakose meeting

FORUS Party has expressed it’s distaste over raw propaganda being packaged and churned out by some media houses ahead of the March 26 by elections.

The propaganda machineries seem to have moved a gear up in a desperate attempt to canvass for the votes.

The populist antics are also evident in the political parties’ campaign guides.President Manyara Irene Muyenziwa has been on the forefront advocating for politics of policies and ideas not politics of personalities and populism.

She recently launched change mindset campaign which is aimed at educating and making the electorate understand the importance of voting being based on policies.

The rallies are not supposed to be used as way of decampaining, denegrating, smearing other political foes .

They should present a stage where politics of ideas take place.

The gorvenment has been making some fallacious claims that the economy is on the mend when the local currency value is continuing to tumble against the United States currency.

President Muyenziwa is of the conviction that Zimbabweans deserve a good leadership which does not believe in ancient political tactic
